Throughout the years we have collected quite a bit of information about used car auctions since this is what we do and we spend a great deal of our time attending them. Most of these are public auctions but so many times the advertising is minimal and very local to the auction in nature.


Always expect to fulfill the need to register before you will be able to do any active bidding as this applies to online used car auctions as well. This process is simply a measure by the sellers so that the bidders properly identity themselves and that their chosen method of payment shall be established. This is actually a very quick and easy process.

Of course there is the police car auction which these stipulations still apply and these are almost always open as a public auction as well. There are some used car auctions which are closed to the public however. These are typically open only to registered car dealers so you may not really be able to take advantage of these in most cases unless you are a new or used car dealer.

Ultimately whether you are biding during an online auction or at a police car auction looking to find a great deal on an auction car you will definitely have fun. As many times as I have done this it still remains exciting and gives my mind a little work out as well while I try to maintain just how high I am willing to bid during all the excitement. The thing to keep in mind is the actual used car values so that you know just where the good deal ends as far as the auction car goes.
